Who is Scott Gehring?

Kenpo Karate -  Scott Gehring is a 5th Degree Black Belt under Larry Tatum, a 4th black belt under Joe Palanzo, and a 2nd Degree under Tom Kelly.   Larry Tatum, Joe Palanzo, and Tom Kelly were the highest ranking belts in Ed Parker's lifetime.  Mr. Parker parted the bulk of his art and his knowledge between these three individuals.   This trifecta of Kenpo knowledge gives Scott a unique perspective on the Kenpo system that very few people in the world have today.

Contemporary Jeet Kune Do - Scott Gehring is a certified Senior Instructor under martial arts legend Paul Vunak. Paul Vunak is one of Dan Inosanto's top students, and went on to put together the RAT self-defense system used for the Navy Seal team 6. The RAT system has been evolved and is used today as one of the premier rapid-to-learn, self-defense programs.   

In addition, Scott uses the Martials Arts as a vehicle to give back to the communities he resides in. In 2017, Scott relocated to Ocean City New Jersey, and is now offering residents of Ocean City a unique and very special training experience.
